FT Recommends Winter Collective 2025/26 at MADE in the Pewsey Vale!
I’m thrilled to be part of the MADE in the Pewsey Vale Artist Collective and have some new work in the upcoing Winter Collective 2025: The Warm and the Cold.
MADE is one of my new favourite places in Wiltshire, primarily because it’s a thriving hub of artists, makers, creatives, designers and collectors.
With a gallery on Pewsey High Street, it has become one of the creative engines behind an emerging artistic community in the Vale, a scene that includes the mix of talent at Sarah.K, Kate Guinness Design, Tate & Darby, MADE in the Pewsey Vale itself, Barneby Gates, Kate Garland Designs, Indigo Antiques, with Vanrenan Hanbury down the road. It’s a real celebration of the variety and creative energy in our corner of Wiltshire, and sprinkles a little Montmartre magic over the Vale!
Curatorial Powehouses behind MADE Catriona Tyrwhitt and Alex Bramall,
The gallery and collective has been brought to life by three incredible founders: Catriona Tyrwhitt, an illustrator, calligrapher, and artist whose work has appeared on the BBC, Ralph Lauren, Boden, and the Royal Household; Alex Bramall, one of the UK’s most legendary fashion and portrait photographers with a career that began at British Vogue and includes commissions for the Royal Family, and a stint with none other than the maestro himself Mario Testino; the engine behind it all is Alena and previous founder Kira Torrens-Spence who now runs art courses from her Old Dairy Studio.
Together, they’re a curatorial powerhouse bringing not just art but live music, photography, food, artisanal products, and a general creative renaissance to the Vale.
Unsurprisingly, MADE recently caught the eye of the Financial Times, citing our Winter Collective show as part of a series on “Shoppable design exhibitions for surprising seasonal gifts” —
